Your Cozumel pictures show a lot of sand on the reefs - from Wilma. I had the same problem diving Puerto Aventuras two weeks ago. Reefs are not the same. Thinking about going to Cozumel in November but afraid that diving is not going to be that great because of last year hurricanes.

Yeah, it was nothing like last year. I hope it clears up at some point.
Im not really sure how all that work (hurricanes, sand, reef)
Was everything just wiped out? or just covered up?

I really want to try some wreak diving in NJ. I heard those subway cars are really interesting.
 
Don't know about NJ, but we went to NC Morehead City last summer, that's was amazing. I'm not sure you can do penetration in NC (I'm not certified and don't intend to), but there probably hundred of ship laying dead there. From Civil War to German U boats of WW2. Water is very warm in summer, vis is close to 100', lots of large animals around. Very nice, we are going back this summer, will publish pictures.
