Mike Veitch:
a camera that does full manual is best in order to learn as much as possible.

Also, an external strobe is nice to have but not mandatory...

HOw about June 07 Z?

where in June?

i have a Pentax Optio S5i now - which is about as manual as compacts go (the only thing I can't do manually is focus) I think most other adjustments have at least some manual control.. habing said that, I'd be quite happy to search for a good second hand camera and housing + strobe - sure I could wrangle that up by June 07...

Z...

CLA:
Plus Tim and Dennis and possibly Jag and Paolo. I'm sure there will be more than 8 of us. Is this OK? Maybe Mike can bring an assistant.

:blinking: ish that right? :)

Hopefully I'll know better by end of this weekend. Just trying to nail down some travel dates. And if I'm definitely going, I may have something that might offset the overall price for all participants... ;) will PM you on that later as well...
