Mike Veitch:
that was easy!

Too easy. There are some practical considerations....and I don't mind being called lola Ading Mikey.

If we leave for PG on Saturday night we still have to pay for our room on Sat in Anilao and then again in PG for Saturday night? For those who will do 4 days, will we be diving the whole day on Sunday and check out Monday morning? Is it easier to go back to Manila from PG or from Anilao? How many dives will we be doing per day? Maybe if we just stay in Anilao we can get more dives in. If you really want to dive PG would it be better to do 2 days Anilao and 2 days PG? Para hindi bitin ang PG?

Staying in Anilao might be more practical for those who can only do 4 days - or for those who need to go back to work on Monday or Tuesday. As for me, I just need to fly back to Palawan on Tuesday morning so I can go with whatever the majority decides. But what do the rest of the 4-day people think?

Aha! cool...

BTW, sorry there jj, I got my wires crossed, not aimed at you in any way! :)

Cathy,

Regarding costs, watch this space, I still smell Kimchi...

Attention K-Mart Shoppers, price on Photo Workshops in Isle # 5 have been reduced

OK, it appear that Continental Micronesia was so moved when they heard Mike V's heart-wrenching story of how lonely he is on Yap, they have now offered to fly him to Manila for far less than the usual fare.

So the good news is that the per price cost of the workshop has gone down significantly (but should be offset by the # of times the bell at The Point gets ringed). I'll let Larry do the exact math, but that takes down the price to approx $164 per person for the people signed up for the 4 day program and $246 for the Larry for the full 6 days. This is based on 6 people. If we have more (Spoon and Wolverine confirm), it will obviously come down more... But this does not include rooms, boats, tanks, and dm's.

oops, ninja edit: numbers were slightly off...

Great news. In that case maybe some of us can extend another day. I also want to see PG since the last time was there was in the early 90's pa. Diving there for just a day feels a little "bitin" to me -especially if we'll be rushing to go home on the same day. Anyway, lets wait for what the others have to say.

where is my calculator? must figure out if this will pay for my room and booze....

Well, if we can get everyone to agree, maybe we could have the entire workshop in PG...

pakman:
