I hope to do a couple of UV Night Dives with VIP Divers during my trip to Bonaire next month. I have been told that I need "Blue Excitation Filters" over my strobes to get the proper effect for photography during these dives. I do not have them and obviously, I don't want to buy them for 2 dives but was wondering if there is some place in Bonaire where I can rent them? I use twin Ikelite AF95 strobes.

Let me know how you do. Probably best to get ahead of your trip, though. We tried to find a uv night filter for our gopro to buy or rent and no one on island had any (nor did it seemed they stocked them) as of last summer.

We've had good experiences with Fisheye Photo in the Den Laman complex, you might ask them about it.

A provisional reply from Fisheye suggests that they may not be able to help either. The main photographer was not yet available but his colleague said that they generally do not rent out filters.
I know that there are some people renting out UW diving photography and videography kits in the UK. I'll try them; unlikely but it won't hurt to ask.
