photo gallery copyright or public domain?

I have been putting together a brochure this week and found it hard to find all the right photos from my own resources.

What is the SB position on the gallery photos as intelectual property or public domain. I certainly dont want to steal anyones stuff, but there is some such great material posted, it seems a shame not to be able to use it.

Whats the stance beore I start right clicking SB photos??

You MUST contact the author of any photo and get their permission in order to use it. These pictures are NOT public domain and that is pretty clear in the TOS. Unlike posts, ScubaBoard makes NO claims on any image in the photo gallery and we allow our excellent photographers to add or remove as they see fit.
