Gosh, DAs are on ebay all the time. The prices have been going up especially for the nice ones but a little metal bumping, some new chrome and a rebuild kit and your in buisness. Heck, if I win the one in the drawing, it is yours, hey go to vdh and get some tickets on that beauty.

My preference is for the older DAs with the satin chrome finish - the older "Blue Label" regs seem to have a thicker chrome plating and even though they are older, the finishes seem to hold up better. It may take a little elbow grease to clean them up - but if you are really going to dive one, who cares if it is bright and shiny.

All you really want is the regulator - you will want to put on new hoses, wagon wheels and rebuild the entire inards. Add a band clamp to make it easier to service/adjust and you will have reg to "dive" for. :D

It is my understanding that enough units have been sold to do the production run. It is not to late yet to get your name on one. N
