Got this from a friend, free event at the Filipino Community Center in Monterey... Presentations on diving in the Philippines... Looks like the Department of Tourism is putting on a big push this year.

Hey Everyone, the Philippine Department of Tourism in San Francisco, in cooperation with the Fil. Comm. Org. of Monterey Inc. and Activentures Philippines, has set up another great Divers' Night! Dinner and a colorful Cultural Show will be provided!


A presentation on Philippine Scuba Diving, as well as an introduction of the 7th Celebrate the Sea Marine Festival that will take place in Manila, Philippines in June will take place.

Aside from this, ActiVentures Instructors and Dive Masters will also be going fun diving that morning. We will meet at the Breakwater parking lot at 9:30am.


Bring your underwater cameras and scooters for added enjoyment. Those that want to do any specialty dives and certifications (Nitrox, Dry Suit, etc...) can get started there as well.

We all hope to see you there!

I would have brought a case if I could make it.... unfortunately I'll be in Catalina....

But I think we'll have enough Pinoys there.... It is a party so you know everyone will be there

I would actully like to get involved in this if I could.

I fell in love with the Philippines and I was treated very well there and really enjoyed diving/Photography there .
