Petrel 2 using up batery in 3-4 hours.

Since a buddy updated my Petrel 2 to newest firmware I have a big problem with battery usage. I did about 30 dives before i had to change my battery before (about 45 hours) now i use up half the battery in one dive even when i reduce the screen brighness to low or cave.

Did anyone else have this problem and how did they fix it?

I don't but I seem to recall reading about someone else having a similar problem... I can't recall the solution. If you haven't searched SB, start there.

FYI, I use the digital electronics AAs and I likely get 50-70 dives out of one, mist being in very cold water.

For starters, I would try to re-update the firmware again. Something went wrong clearly.
