Although no doubt the tragedy in Belize has haunted Peter ever since, I have never come across anyone who expressed a comment that they did not trust PHD because of that fateful day.
Interesting you say that.
There is a book out called "No Safe Harbour" which is about the Belize disaster and tabulates the tragedy from day one to the legal wrangeling after the findings of the company "Ocean oil international" a company of naval architects, marine engineers and surveyors who were hired to inspect the Wave Dancer after it was refloated -certainly the book and the report raised a number of questions about the incident, which may or may not have been answered satisfactorily depending on your view, but, I do think in the aftermath of the travel fall out from 9/11, a tightening global economy and a live aboard industry on its knees, the wave dancer episode was probably the final nail in the coffin so to speak.
