I have no idea, turning off Java stops it, but also stops some site features.

There is a thread in site support now.

I think the site must determine which advertiser has the click through for the scheme.

Is it java or JavaScript you are disabling?

Some ad blockers will work. For Apple devices it may require you jailbreak your device.

This is a scubaboard problem, not a malware / virus problem.

Ok, here's how u got rid of it...


Delete all cookies, cache, history for all devices. Deleted Google user account internet history, this one's in cyberspace and is a backup not on device itself.
