Planning a dive tomorrow and using my AI as primary, non AI secondary / backup. I notice that my stop depths and times are different between the two. They are both set to buhlman 16c, 30/70, and the firmware is up to date on both. Can anyone explain this?
I’ve never tried to use the dive planning feature on any of my Shearwater computers. However, I currently have a Petrel 1 and a Petrel 2 and I’ve been using Shearwater computers since 2008. I see one of the computers is calling for 80% and the other is not. Do you have all of the same gases programmed and “on” in the system settings? It is also not telling you to switch to 50% until 50ft, so I’m guessing you don’t have the PO2 limits for decompression set to 1.6, they are probably 1.4. I seem to recall the TTS numbers during a dive are affected by the gas selections, so I am guessing the same holds true for the planning.
