Is there enough visibility in Perdido Bay to cruise around with my bottom finder and drop in to check interesting lumps? I know it is heavily traveled and might not be worth the trouble, but just wondered if anyone had done this.

Whats enough?

It can get 10-15' with a strong high tide after a period without lots of rainfall. Other factors can affect vis as well. Further north, the less vis you'll find.

10-15 is plenty. Just thought it might be a fun way to kill a day if the gulf is too rough for my little boat.
