Hey anyone been in the water yet, I tried to get me wife in this Sunday, but she is dead against it. Something about hypothermia, Anyway Just wondering how cold the water really is. I was hoping to hit. Hathway pond down the cape.
Nice fresh water dive to start the season. Guess it's going to have to wait.

If you want to iget n the water at Hathaway bring a drill, there's about 18" of ice on it.

The ocean is around 35degs

Northeastwrecks and I did some wreck diving yesterday from Cape Ann Divers' big boat. The air temp with the wind chill on a moving boat a mile and a half off the coast in the North Atlantic was the only painful part.

At 36° F, I was fine in my 300g Diving Concept undies with just a t-shirt and swimsuit underneath...truth be told, the water is fine...its the surface interval that'll hurt ya.
