I'm a Fish!
Planning a trip to dive the Comanche and Minch Wrecks off Pentwater in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know if they are marked this year? Even a floating line? I know the West Mich Underwater Preserve group tries to mark the wrecks. But its late in the season and lake traffic takes its toll.
I have GPS #'s known to be good.

Thanks all...the pool is still open!

Sorry I can't help about the wrecks, but I do have a question for you about diving around Pentwater if you don't mind..

I'm hoping to do some diving in and around Pentwater lake next summer with my dad. Do you know of a place close to Pentwater or Ludington to get tanks filled? Not having much luck finding any dive shops around that area..

I don't think Pentwater has a dive shop. I get fills in Muskegon or Grand Haven.

I have to echo Superstar. Closest dive shop I know of is Scuba Zoo in Muskegon or Lakeshore in Grand Haven. Lakeshore has relocated to Jackson Street just south of the draw bridge. Scuba Zoo is actually in Twin Lake on M120 (Holton Rd).

Thanks for the tips. I knew there wasn't anything in Pentwater, but I was hoping for maybe a shop in Ludington or Manistee. Scuba Zoo looks like the closest. Thanks again.
