Pensacola Dive Club Meeting Oct. 7th

A new Dive club is being formed in Pensacola, thought I'd post this so people will know about it.

Place: Quality Inn in Gulf Breeze (Just South of 3 Mile Bridge)

When: Tuesday Oct 7th

Time: 6:30 PM

Purpose: Meet Fellow Divers, bring your ideas for activities you'd like to see the dive club involved in.

Why can't they have the meeting on the weekends and do some local diving while you're there for us out-of-towners?

From what I understand this is a kickoff meeting so maybe we'll have some input into future meeting dates.

Okay, here is the skinny on the new dive club. The news is that the club met with about 25 people in attendance at the first ever meeting. We talked about creating a non-profit company, A dive club name, dues structure and amount and requirments for a non-profit club which include electing officals. The skinny is that there is an E-Mail being sent out to all attendees and another meeting is tentatively scheduled for November 11th at which time officals will be elected as well as a club name decided on and membership dues amount decided on. We did'nt make a lot of head way except to try and have some decisions made by next meeting. I'll post when the next meeting will be, where and what to bring if anything.
