I just read this about the pensacola beach pier rubble and am now dieing to get out there and check it out:

"I was absolutely amazed at the amount of relief that was sticking up. There are pilings uncovered that haven't been uncovered in years. There are several pilings sticking up out of the sand at least 6 feet. The viz was about 20 ft and the water temp was low 80's. ... The marine life on the reef was amazing. Cowfish, rays, and octopus covered every piling. Juvenile grouper and snapper we very plentiful as well."

I'm working till at least 5:30 in Orange Beach so I could probably hit up the dive around 8:30 to be safe. Anybody want to go Saturday or Sunday night?

Some of us are talking about Navarre around Noon on Saturday...how about we try Pensacola on Sunday night???

Friggin' awesome! That's my favorite night dive bar none.

I probably won't be able to go, I'm already making the trip to Navarre Saturday at noon.... I might can do Saturday night and skip the Navarre dive tho :)

Does anyone want to just make a day of it Saturday?? We can do the Noon dive at Navarre....if conditions are good maybe we get two dives in on that location. Then we eat and shoot the breeze for a while before heading to Pensacola Beach. We could do a dive just before dark to check things out....and then a night dive after the sun goes down???

I am open for anything....what do you guys/gals think?
