What kind of accomodations are you looking for?
Ideally a rental house for 2-4 that will allow me to bring my two darling tiny dogs for a week.

You can certainly rent beach houses off Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.

I always stay in Orange Beach, but that's a bit of a drive to P'Cola because of the way the roads are set up.
I like:
Perdido Beach Resort
Turquoise Place
Phoenix on the Bay
If you don't have your own boat, and don't plan on cooking, PBR is the best bet, but again, you're about 40-60 minutes from Pensacola by road.
