Just unzip the legs (assuming you don't tuck the wetsuit's legs in your boots) hang upside down, pull out the neck and exhale through your reg such that the bubbles go up through your suit. This will flush out most of the pee as the bubbles rise. When you get back on the boat and take your suit off, you wont be "that person" that makes the boat deck reek of pee.

Don't do this if you can't control your buoyancy.

Never in my 7 or 5mm semi-dries. Ever, ever, ever. It's a semi-dry suit and what ends up inside, stays inside. I'd be mighty embarrassed to come aboard, pull my boot off and flood the deck.

I peed in my wetsuit for years, until I found it gave me a rash/crotch rot. I figured it out a few years after getting a custom suit that didn’t circulate much water. I installed a tube tunnel that can be connected to a condom catheter. I tend not to bother if I am in the suit for less than two hours though. Photos attached… of the tube tunnel part less the live model.

All this talk about peeing in suits... Seems to go with out saying 99% of divers do this regularly. I'm wondering who would own up to committing #2 in their wetsuit...? That probably falls in the 25% range for recreational divers who have been actively diving for atleast 10yrs. In the commercial side of things I have heard of even higher numbers..

Well, isn't that just a disgusting turn of thought?

And that is why some men are called "pencil d$#&".

My personal policy is don't ask, don't tell, but I do encourage students to pee in their rental suits because "the last 200 people who rented the suit did, so you might as well". Suit sales are above norm for my class.
