If you don't pee in your wetsuit, how do you mark your territory?

805 dives in wetsuits before going dry. Zero pee dives! I worked in a dive shop for several years and had to wash rental suits. Believe me, pee does not rinse out of the suit while diving.

Ok I know bathroom humor...right?, but on a serious note:

How many dives before you stopped peeing in a rental wetsuit? Stopped?

How many dives before you stopped peeing in YOUR wetsuit? See above

Etiquette for when you do pee in a wetsuit? rinse? :dontknow:

for those who are bashfull, I will except "my friend" and "his/her" when answering.

If you don't pee, where's the warmth? When nature calls you WILL comply.

I dive dry and even when in the tropics in a wetsuit, I just can't do it. However, I will admit that while hiding behind a clump of coral, I have pulled up the leg of my short john, freed my boy and relieved myself.

Nothing disgusts me more, and almost makes me sick, is when I'm on a boat and someone's fresh pee is leaking out on the deck. I can take the rough seas and diesel fumes, but the smell of urine puts me over the edge.

If I ever #2 in my drysuit or wetsuit, I will know it is time to book a date with my Springfield MC Operator.

I have never smelled someone's pee on a boat before...I didn't even know it would linger.

There are two types of divers. Those that pee in their suits and those that lie about it.

Come down this summer for a few charters and you'll see...we try to give friendly reminders, but it still happens often.

:vomit: Is it easy to identify who did it?

The time I went diving with you I wanted the shuttle to stop by the bathroom before we got to the boat, but we forgot. After 2 dives and the surface interval I REALLY had to go! Lol!

I'm wondering who would own up to committing #2 in their wetsuit..

Wouldn't do that in a wetsuit. 25 percent sounds high as I've never known anyone who has done that, and I've been diving for 5 years.

Had to pee once in my semi dry this year a couple of weeks ago, it was a long boat ride to the dive site.

I try not to pee in my wet suit, but if ya gotta go then ya gotta go, as already mentioned it is not healthy to keep it in.

As for #2 .... I know an ex colleague who cr@pped in his wooly bear during a dive, and as our gear had our names on there was no escaping who done it. He should of course have rinsed it in the wet pot first before sending it out through the medical lock of the chamber, after all that was the route that the food came in :vomit:
