Do I really need to fill this thing out? I can't get it to work. Frustrating

No need to waste time filling the dam* thing, nobody will look at it on arrival, they just check the paper certs.
I am even wondering whether it is still required : Airasia counter in SIngapore told me "no, not required anymore" end of december. Though I haven't seen this information on any official indonesian site.

In November (Bali) we were asked by the Malaysian check in people to show it on the Phone at Heathrow. No one in Denpasar asked when we got there. Paper form or electronic for the vaccinations (I like both/backup). Not sure where you are going but check if you need to do the Customs declaration - much easier to do before travel

Yes, that's even mandatory for the arrival in Bali.

I wasn't aware that you could fill out customs declaration ahead of time. Is this the correct site? Official Website Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai
Yes that's quite surprizing : it's a task that might help you kill some time before boarding your flight.
I think it is the correct site, it should generate a QR code that you save on your mobile then show the custom officer at Bali (or whatever indonesian) airport. Only one form per family.

It appears the online customs does not allow for arrival in Manado, only Jakarta (CGK), Bali (DPS), Surabaya (SUB), and Medan (KNO).

I uploaded my vaccination info to the app on my phone. I saw that it says something about 30 days. Does it matter that I did that now? Our trip is not til the end of February. It sounds like they don't look at it anyway.

Nope nothing matters with Peduli Thinguli. Probably says that your certificates will be validated - most likely, mine never were- within 30 days (it takes a lot of time in Indonesia... apps are slow...).

Nobody will check except you.
Filling up Peduli is like painting the inside of scale models or wearing mismatched socks with boots.
Only you will know.
