Was hoping to get out this past weekend and was bummed I couldn't get out Saturday as I was taking the first aid and cpr cert for my rescue class. Was able to get out on Sunday. Wind had shifted Sunday to NE, sites such as Folly, OGB, and Back Beach were getting pounded as the wind picked up. My buddy LewisEvans and I went to Pebble Beach, sheltered and south facing. There was very little surf, but we didn't know that Friday and Saturday had been south winds so visibility was pretty bad.

Surface swimming out, vis was less than 3 feet, and once at depth we hit maybe 10 feet max vis. Total dive time was 36 minutes with poor Lewis diving wet and really nothing to see. Max depth was 24'. My computer registered 50 degrees, Lewis's computer registered 48 degrees. We saw very little sea life. One flounder and the usual crabs and some moon snails.

Sounds like Saturday was the day to get out and dive, but we still had a good time. I'm getting more familiar with my drysuit, but needed help getting out of my fins after the dive :shakehead:

Thanks for posting a report. I was planning on posting one yesterday but took a nap instead :D
