i saw the nimitz sail in last year.. this one seemed just a bit bigger..

One of the coolest things I've done in the Navy was to escort the Reagan into Pearl when I was working on the security boats. We're sure that when we were watching the helicopters buzz us in our security boat, that the pilots were thinking the same thing about us.

yeahhh.. riiiiiight.. and my wife is.. morgan fairchild

btw.. my wife wanted us to walk out onto the sandbar..
but i said.. "naw, they'd never let us get that close"..
apparently, as we saw, there were a bunch of folks on the sandbar..
in fact we even saw a kayak'r trying to cross right in front of it..
but he wisely decided to let the reagan go first

is your boat 30' or 40' ? w/e.. it totally looked like a toy next to the carrier..

I was at the clubhouse watching it come in. It looks like one of the 32 footers. I'm only there once a month now, but during RIMPAC I was there for 2 months doing nights

Anyone know how long it's in for? Id love to see it up close. I think Im still a mamber of the navy league, I wonder if they would let me on?
