I wish someone would tie it to the wall and up higher, I hate having to get in the middle of the flow to tie off. Not sure if it's possible, or why it's not done that way, but to a n00b like me, it seems like it would work. Any idea why it's on the floor?

ah the old line dancing in Ginnie. There are those who feel it should be on the floor so everyone can see it and tie in. Then there are those who feel that tying into the line should not be done on knees (as people do when the line is on the floor) and move it up higher so you have to hang in the flow to tie in...... so the line moves up and down depending who feels it is their turn to make a positive change....:D

I noticed most if not all scooters exit the eye.I can see why with more room to hangout and decompress and lack of flow.Do they not run a line?and rely on sight for exit?

Er...
From what I have seen...(yes)
But since I haven't watched too many people exit with scooters , well , er , the sampling rate that I use is pretty small. (erp)
I'll stop there , since anything else I say would cause the roof to come down on top of me. :11:

having it in the middle of the flow would help a team exiting on the line get out of the cave faster
dunno if that's why it's there but it makes sense to me. you'd have to ask Larry.

That's my best guess as well. Right now the line is certainly the fastest way out of the cave.

Work with the system and flow. It should be irrelevant where the line is.........up on a wall or on the floor.
