.... There is a memorial marked sitting at 35ft.. If you surface at that marker you will be at the opening of the rocks where you cross back into the shallows. So when you cross drop to 35ft and you should see the marker, slightly off to your left. Kevin Carlisle

How large is the marker and what does is look like. I am assuming since the other poster missed it, it must be fairly small. How large is the marker and what does is look like?
Also, do you know what the memorial marker is for?

Does anyone know the history behind the marker?
Did a 15 year old boy die diving or snorkeling there in the cold January waters?
Or maybe he lost his life somewhere else and this was a favorite place of his?

I never knew that marker was there...... (but I don't think I've been to the PCB jetties in about 2 years).

We have only been the PC jetties onces, and loved it. From what we've seen on SB there's much more to see at the PC jetties. Does anyone know of a web page, or a map of the diving at the jetties? We look forward to getting to know this area better.

Yeah but they did not consult with me before placement therefor hindering my knowledge of that marker. Its a conspiracy I tell ya.

hmm..... speaking of markers in the Black Bart.... Lets get another skeleton and put it in the wheelhouse of the Black Bart, like the one that used to be there.
