Does anyone know of a dive log that is compatible with the Cobalt? I recently bought a Cobalt and have had it in the water a couple of times. Only in a pool so far, but I really like the computer.

The Cobalt holds about 600 hours of diving, but I would like to download it to a PC. Does anyone have any recommendations for a dive log?

Thanks!

Right now I do not believe anything is available. Atomic is working on one that is, according to their web sight coming soon. Diving log is another that is going to support the Cobalt when drivers are available.

You are like many others patiently waiting. I also want to be able to maintain my detailed logs on a computer with notes on conditions and equipment used as well as my photographic notes in one place.

They say Patience grasshopper - patience :D:D

This has been a sticky point for a few months now. We are all hoping for it to show up soon.

At the rate AA is going with this, we're all going to be sending in our Cobalts for new batteries before the software's been released.
:shakehead:

Probably by tomorrow, Nick will release an update to MacDive that downloads Cobalt data- making the Cobalt the first dive computer to have Mac download software available before PC/ Windows software :shocked2:.

We have worked to make open source drivers available, and I think that Diving Log Diving Log 5.0 - Scuba Log, Scuba Logbook, Dive Log, Divelog - Logbook software for scuba diving - Logbuch Software zum Tauchen has incorporated Cobalt download capability, but was waiting for the "official" Atomic version before releasing to ensure compatibility- so that's a bit of a chicken or egg thing.

I wish I knew more.

Thanks for the input everyone. I guess that is a problem with being an early adopter of equipment. Oh well, I see that in my day job too.

MacDive works perfectly with Cobalt.

It does, but please be aware that if by some chance you have set your dive sample storage interval to 5 seconds, or have very long dives (over an hour), you should wait for a firmware update before attempting to download your dives. Downloading long dives could cause the Cobalt to crash. A 1.1 update, which I hope is posted shortly by Atomic (along with a Mac program to update the firmware), will provide full MacDive compatibility.

Thanks, RonR. By the way, would you happend to know why when I download my dives from a Cobalt, "air temperature" shows 32'F ? Do you think it it A bug in Cobalt software or MacDive's?
