A video of microbiolites observed our weekend dives at Pavilion Lake in the south, mid and northern recreational zones. Microbiolites are calcified bacterial colonies that only occur in a few lakes throughout the world and are thought to be similar to life forms that may be found on other planets. NASA and the CSA have an ongoing study at Pavilion Lake to observe them and beta test manned and unmanned vehicles in a weightless environment.
