Hi all...

I leave for GC this Friday:banana:

However I see that Hurricane Paula has set up shop in the Western Carribean near Cozumel. Any impact on GC as of now? Any idea if it will pinball a bit Northwest to GC by the end of the week?

Thanks...

Jen

Hey Alex how you been? Was fun diving with you.I already "strong Armed" Dusty into planning South Side drift dives for the Thanksgiving week I will be there.Let me know if you are interested so you can get a spot onboard. He is going to bring the big boat to the South side for the winter which will make things more comnfortable.I am on my way to serve on jury duty.......Have a good day.

Navi Jen hope your trip works out,if the North side is getting wind (which it looks as if the storm will be from that direction) it may be possible to dive the South side.Keep your options open .

Blue skies and sunshine in East End at the moment. We will be carefully watching Paula and may get some clouds and wind from the storm's outflow even if the center doesn't come anywhere close to Cayman.

Hi, John! Yah, count me in.

We've been at The Brac since Saturday. We've had rain, wind, sunshine . . .

Every day brings new weather. We're going to monitor the hurricane, but expect it to go north of here over Cuba. Travel plans this Saturday are definitely up in the air, though, unless the storm moves east pretty fast.

We might just have to spend another week down here . . . what a shame.

@ South 4 Scuba - how awful to have to spend another week in Paradise. One year we were stuck there due to a hurricane but were only able to stay one extra day. Enjoy your time on island and let us know about the hurricane.

We delayed our trip to GC back in 2007 due to Dean. After we got there we found that that was a good choice, as we were told that vis was poor. What is vis now, and how will the wind direction of Paula effect diving on the east end, and north?
