For those that have waited forever to get their passport - I would like to say that we sent in our renewal paperwork on August 5th and the new passports arrived August 16th (of the same year no less)!

I renewed mine back in March and it took just under two weeks just like yours.

That sounds scary to hear the U. S State Depatment and efficiency within the same sentence :).

The door bell just rang I hope they didn't repsond to this posting that quickly!!

Just curious, was that using the expedited or "routine" service?
 
America seems to be full of procrastinators. When they changed the boarder rules for MX, Canada, the Bahama's, etc., millions of US Citizens realized they needed a passport, and all hit the passport offices at once.

It's nice to see things are back to normal! My wife and son need passports, seems like a good time to get that done! :D
