Thanks for nice detail report. I also enjoy the videos much. Bring back all memories.

Years back we stayed at Kri eco resort. Visited Sorido to get some tools to fix my UWP gear. Nice guys there.

Indeed Saturday is no diving day for both kri and sorido.
We did unguided house reef diving. I remember there was one couple from sorido did too.

Great report, thanks - in case we go back to RA, Sorido Bay will definitely be an option.

Just wondering, they mention on their hp that there is no boat diving on Saturdays. Can you go to Cape Kri instead, is it really their house reef and you can just swim there, dive and swim back?

Thanks
No, you could not get to Cape Kri without a boat. It is a few minutes by a boat, but it would be difficult and dangerous try to swim there because of the distance and current.

Great review, thank you.

How is the food? Type of food, please.

How do you get to the resort from Sorong?
Food was fine. I am probably not the best person to judge food as I am vegan. They provide a free (scheduled) 1.5 hr boat ride from Sorong. Please refer to my report.

Thank you for watching my videos and your comments, Wisnu.

And how is the house reef? Worth to go for 2 dives a day? We are planning to go for 10 days and would have 2 Saturdays...

Sorido - the blue hole - is a good dive on Saturday. You should enjoy it.

You can also dive the pier at Kri Eco. Depending on tides and current - it can be really good.

Both locations, as always - bring you DSMB and know how to use it.

I never dived at the blue hole. If you are coming for ten days only, consider booking from Sunday to Thursday, so that you will be there only for one Saturday.

I am also vegan, so would be interested in your thoughts on the food if you feel like sharing...

You could make special requests. Just make them well in advance (maybe a month or so), and they will try to accommodate it as much as possible. We had salads and veggies, fruits and juices, tofu and green beans, various types of soup, etc. In the morning, I usually had oats with soya milk. I brought my own walnuts. They usually cooked something special for two of us every day, including special fruits desserts. At the same time, we are not extremely stringent vegans, and could deviate a bit, if it is really needed.
