I found this sponge in about 40 fsw at Curaçao. It looked to be dark to black, but with the light on it a redish to purple color came out.

A search on The Sponge Guide gave as a result the latin name Pandaros acanthifolium, but no common name was given. Other website too gave the latin name only.

Do you know if this sponge has a common name / nick name ?
