Anyone using the Panasonic housing with a strobe using the inon w35 cap adapter? I am having issues with setup and I am leaving for vacation in 5 days. My question is I am using a Sea&Sea YS-01 and I am trying to use the ttl mode. Am I supposed to block of my flash on my camera inside the housing like photo 1? Or should I block off the flash completely like photo 2? I am new to the whole strobe thing and could use some help

You want the internal strobe to ONLY light up the fiber optic with no light from the strobe getting outside the housing. The idea is that the flash on the camera sends out a pulse. The pulse flows along the FO cable to the strobe. The strobe then mimics what the internal camera flash should do. If your flash from the camera hits the subject it will screw up the exposure.
