I feel out of the loop, can anyone update me on why the vis has been so bad? Canal water is being dumped into the intracoastal water? I've heard something like that, is there any site I can check as to when/how much water is being dumped?

How bad is the vis? Does it affect most sites or are only certain sites affected (is it just by the shore/inlets or does it extend out)?

The viz has been bad at BHB because of the dump but the shore diving in general has also been bad because of the wind conditions that WPB has been experiencing lately. Pounds the shore and stirs up sediment.

When I was there two weeks ago viz at the bridge got down to less then 10 feet on several days of bad weather but ocean dives were typically 60 to 80 most days. The one day that I actually got to dive the bridge it was good. I'd say 20 to 25 feet.
