Hello Lonely Boy,
I also have a Nikonos but the IV. I used only once and results where not nice as yours.
I changed to digital as it looks easier and you can easily correct mistakes you do. You can then shoot much more so at the end I am pretty sure to get a couple of picture looking nice.
I think your pic's look good.
