Failure to make sales quotas????

(It's just a joke!!!! :eyebrow: )

I know a number of cases on the list and some that are not there.

One dive shop and its staff in NZ were expelled due to a multi death accident due to negligence.

Members have been expelled or terminated for fraudulent dealings with PADI and standards violations that result in clients not recieving certifications that they paid for or earned.

Pretty much ANY dive accident that involves standards violations (whether they contributed tot he accident or not) will result in expulsion.

PADI has a zero tolerance for sexual misconduct in the workplace and this sometimes results in expulsion or termination.

Underwater stupidity such as drinking alcohol with students on safety stops has resulted in the same.

Etc, etc.

PADI really does not like it when they have to take punative action against its members, but all QA decisions are based on four questions:

Is it true?
Is it fair?
Is it best for ALL involved?
and will it build good will?

.

I notice a distinct lack of names who I know are No longer able to teach and are missing from the list. I give PADI credit for publishing their dirty linen, but keep it up to date guys !

Hoppy, if you are aware of names that should be on that list due to misconduct, please contact PADI QA. It may well be that the names have "fallen between the cracks".
