I completed my PADI IDC in late 2009 but haven't done any instruction since. I am clearing out my stuff in preparation to move, and have a few PADI Speciality Instructor manuals that I'm not sure are current versions I should keep or recycle.

Is there a place where I can check current versions?

I would presume tentatively that I've got obsolete versions of everything, so should recycle and replace if I ever pursue instructing.

Now a days when you take your IDC you get a DVD with all of the Specialty Instructor Manuals on it. This what you can download only the ones you need at that time.

I would recycle them if you no longer have a need for them.

Cool, thanks for that.

I would also presume that as the courses have been updated, the cue card slates would have also updated, and these are best recycled as well?

Go to the PADI PRO site and compare the Slate Version with the latest Slate Version they offer there. The Open Water course was revamped in 12/2013 so those slates will definitely be outdated. But the best things is to compare version and see for yourself.

Besides some changes to various Specialty courses, you will find significant changes to the OW course, the DM course, and even the Rescue course since 2009,

A good idea, only I didn't renew my membership this year so I can't access the shop. Otherwise this would have been my first port of call.
