Gili Training

At the Gili IDC Indonesia in the Gili Islands we know that we offer the best possible training at one of the most competitive prices. Because we are the only PADI Career Development Center (CDC) in the Gili Islands we are able to offer the highest possible standard of training at a facility that more than meets the needs of a PADI 5 Star IDC Center.
At some point in the future we are due to increase the price of our PADI IDC so as to accommodate for the increase in professionalism and course quality, we are currently offering the course at a cost of 950 Euro and dont see the need to offer the so called discounts or special prices.
We truly believe in the quality of our training package and wish to make the course as comprehensive and competitive as possible without compromising our high standard of tuition.
The course consists of a 10 day schedule with an additional 4 days preparation workshop. Our PADI Course Director trains her candidates to a standard that exceeds that general required within industry. The level of training offered is designed to prepare students for a career in the recreational diving industry and to make the transition between the course and teaching as smooth as possible.
During the course of 2013 we certified 100% of our IDC applicants as PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors, many of which went on to take further training at our CDC facility. Many candidates from 2013 have or are intending on taking their PADI Instructor Specialty training during 2014. We have also had a number of people showing an interest in taking the IDC Staff Instructor Training, some of which are seriously considering following our Master Instructor Program, which actually prepares them for their PADI Course Director application.
Although we believe that there is nothing wrong at all with asking for a discount on your professional dive training, we are keen to keep the price a fair as possible for all our past present and future instructors, whilst maintaining our high level of educational standards. Of course we would always be willing to consider applicants for continuing education whether trained here at our PADI Career Development Center or elsewhere at one of the low-cost or discounted IDC Centers and of course be willing to support candidates in bringing them up to our unusually high standards.
As well as the PADI continuing Education programs we have also introduced a range of Career Progression Programs. These include the IDC Gili Islands Biorock Coral Reef Restoration IDC Internship, which is designed for instructors who have a keen interest in the environment and wish to peruse this alongside their career as a PADI Instructor. Another interesting Program we have developed is The IDC Gili Islands Komodo Livaboard Operations Management & IDC Program Designed for candidates that are keen dive guides, wish to teach PADI programs and want to learn about all aspects of running a successful Livaboard operation. A range of Technical Diving IDC programs have been developed for those who also have a keen interest in diving deeper and longer and a videography internship for those who are looking to increase their skillset.
Information regarding our IDC training can be found on our PADI IDC Indonesia website, or for further training please contact our PADI GoPro team.
