PADI Finally Doing eBooks?

Agreed Quero! I don't blame PADI entirely - rather a lot of the world doesn't realize that when you live on a small backwater island in the middle of nowhere, internet access is still measured in bytes/hour rather than megabits per second! ;-)
 
I was told recently that PADI are preparing to launch eManuals to cover the Tec40/45/50 courses. This isn't eLearning (that isn't yet planned for tech courses) - it is an eBook manual only.

More news when I get it... have emailed PADI training dept. for clarification on the tech manuals.

Apparently, they're only being sold via Instructors/Shops and will come in DVD form. So... doesn't really solve any problems in respect of getting materials to students in advance of their trip for pre-study.

DVDs... really? Is this still the 90's?
