How much is PADI charging for a plastic card now?

E-card have always been free for me. Photo on my phone of the physical cards has always worked with dive operators

I just checked. Each e-card is $53.00. Not going to pay for an e-card. Will continue to use my plastic cards.

If you've got plastic, you're fine. You can alwasy store a picture of it on your phone.
The issue is if you only have an eCard, as is now provided.

What if you tell PADI to take a funny run with their "virtual" card pricing?

Does that mean you don't get a certification for the course? In which case there's no point in doing it with PADI?

Do they provide a website where you can look up ANYONE'S PADI qualifications?

Whilst we're at it; does the electronic "course" material only work for a year? Do you have to pay more to read it later in your diving career?

If it's all virtual, then it's pretty much virtually useless.

It would be so useful if they'd provide an Apple Wallet compatible file for their certification cards.

DIY wallet card Pass2U wallet. Can create a card for any agency / any cert. easy-peazy.

The app is free. For us the have been certified for a long time, if we want an e-card, the cost is $53.00 per card. I still have my plastic card so no worry.

Do you know how far back they can look up old certs in their computer? For example, I can't look at my NAUI certs, they don't go that far back online.
