Just to chime in, I replaced the zipper on my NexGen and I used PB-300 and aqualseal.

15 dives later and it's still holding up.

PB-300 will likely work fine, but I'll let you know in a month or so when I get around to installing my P-valve.

[edit]I also would like to say that Bare will be next to useless for help. Unless they can make some $$$ out of it, they are not too likely to give you any info... for "liability reasons"... (at least that was my experience)[/edit]

You do not necessarily need to glue the valve to the outside well. The inner surface creates the waterproof seal, the valve is held in place by the outside nut. You just need to put a bit of glue so the outside nut does not unscrew

My friend just installed the valve on his NexGen suit

My dive buddy of 200+ dives has a nexgen and he keeps having to re-apply glue to his pockets every so often...looks terrible now that he's done it so often. So I'm guessing that the material is perhaps the issue but he does have pockets on it...however ugly they may have made the suit look. He's about to install a pee valve and the people at Dive Tech (in Canada) don't seem to have a problem with doing this. I'll let you know if they run into a problem in a couple of weeks. I have a Trilam HD Tech with no problems re pockets or pee valve.
