Hmmmmmm oysters.

Here in Mexico we have a soup called Jugo de carne, (meat juice) which is almost the same as oxtail soup. I have one resturaunt I go to where they toss half a dozen raw oysters or so into the soup just before they serve it.. Delicious. Meat and seafood, what a mix.

The only fresh (live) ones I can get around here are the size of my hand though.

tonight i ate an oyster
an oyster in a stew
a stew of lemon butter
that he was flaoting through
I ate his heart, his liver
his gills, his fluid sac
then i ate the vein that runs along his back
what a great delight to sup
please show me where the bathroom is
my suppers coming up!

Speaking of which... I've been trying to find/duplicate a dip recipe that had sea-snail and I think guacamole. I had some the last time I was in Rosarita, Mexico. It sounds bad, but tastes great.
