Hey All,
Thanks for the info on the Oxycheq 45# wing.
I just bought one from COVCI to go with my FredT BP.
Great guy to deal with............

Check out these new products OxyCheq is coming out with. Good idea! The removable internal bladder will be a slick deal.

They also have a 18# wing for tropic diving. Didn't Halcyon discontinue theirs? Patrick has been busy, heh?

Just to tell all Bp/Wing divers Oxycheq has 4 new wing models.
18# Single Tank Wing
30# Signature Series
45# Signature Series
70# Doubble Bladder
Singature Series are single tank bladders with an inter core and outer shell. Inter bladder can be replaced.
This might be the end for my halcyon pioneer. Ebay time.
No I dont work for oxycheq, comnon im 15. Just letting everyone know.

Dear Scuba Board Members,

I am new to diving (I just got certified this past summer) and am interested in purchasing a BC. I am considering the OxyCheq system.

I am not sure what size wing I should get though. I am 5'8 and fluctuate between 125-130 pounds. I use 26 pounds of weights now but hope to get that number down to 22. I figure as a beginner I am using more weight than is ideal.

Does anyone know of a place to get the OxyCheq system in southern California?

What is considered a good price for a complete package?

It is such an investment to buy equipment that I really want to make sure I make the right decisions.

Thanks so much for your thoughts!

Sneha

He's not in California, but he'd be more than happy to ship stuff to you. Fantastic service, and you can't beat his prices - I think he's cheaper than Oxycheq directly, even.

He can also hook you up with a backplate, etc.

And for what it's worth, you sound like an ideal candidate for a 30 lb wing.
