I should get my 30 lb wing next week as well (it's so difficult to wait... ), and after trying it out, I'll post my opinion on it.

I still have a 30# wing available, and a 70# if anyone is interested...

PM me...

Recently sold my Halcyon 45 singles wing and am waiting for the oxycheq 45 to arrive. Thanks for the comparison report on the 30 vs. 45.:)

Looks like I should have gotten the 45# too. But since I dive warm water most fo the time (In Malaysia), the 30# should be fine. For 45#, I guess I can use my Ranger wing.

I got mine 30# from Chris at Covci too.

How necessary is the STA for the 45# Oxycheq. I know it doesn't have the plastic rods in it and so would not be as stable. Is it that big of a deal? Are there better solutions for STA's out there that don't add a lot of weight? It seems like a simple plastic device could be constructed.

The simple plastic device is sold by Dive Rite. I use it.

Birdman, what does it look like? The DiveRite products page is down right now. Does it mount to the tank like a regular STA? Is it cheap?

The 45# wing only holds a single cylinder. Is it worth it to get the 45# over the 50# which will hold single or double? Why?

I started that thread last week comparing the two Halcyon lifts to figure out which one I'd buy. Go figure -- I just bought the Oxycheq 45, over the web, based on the feedback form all of you! It seemed to offer the best lift with no size penalty. Thanks.
