Did they end up putting the bars in the single tank wing for those of us with no STA?

At those COVCI prices, I could almost sell my pioneer 36 wing on ebay for more money.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they did, but looking at the photos of the wings, I can't really tell...

So, Whats up with the OxyCheq wing?

Good, Bad???

Waiting to hear Jackknife...

Conditions were bad last weekend, will try and dive it this weekend. Get back to you guys then.

I intend to order a 30# wing from Oxycheq through my local dealer but he needs a minimum order of $400. Is there anyone in the San Diego area who is planning on ordering a wing(s) in the near future? Please PM me if you're interested and I will give you the contact info for the dealer.

Basically, the entire board is waiting for someone to dive with one of those suckers and give us a report.

A good friend has a couple of different sizes on order. Hopefully, he'll let me test-drive the 50# so I can see how they handle with twin 104's compared with my Halcyon 65#.

I dove one with PST 95's. It works just the same as the Halycon, but has more trim adjustments. The center section is built better, but the hose on the one I dove was too long IMO. That should change.

How much longer would you guess the inflator hose is? Perhaps it's interchangeable with one from a halcyon unit.

Other thing I noticed... that ball on the lower exhaust dump has got to go... nothing a good pair of snips can't take care of. :D

Ok, that didnt come out right...

ANyways, you can order them with a 12", 14", or 16" hose... Just let me know which one you want. No charge for UPS ground...

What good is such a long hose if WB416 is inclined to snip off the balls?

lragsac,
You can order DIRECT from Patrick and be exempt from the $400 minimum order issue, I'd imagine.

Scottk was kind enough to send me a 'preliminary report' when prototype's were being tested and a diver with 30 years experience tested the wing and was very impressed with it. He had nothing but good things to say about that wing. Even if you were to receive a wing with a defect in manufacturing I'm sure Patrick would make it right. Thats the kind of people Scott and Patrick are. 100% customer service oriented. If I'm right, their items are all made in USA as well.

I purchased some of Scott's products and they were first rate items. There were no burrs and unfinished spots on my BP's and Weighted STA. They look as good as the day I bought them.

Knowing Scott, I have no doubts this wing is going to be 'the cats meow.'
