my profile pic is the new 45# singles wing...
What's that white thing at the bottom of the spine, and how does the length of the corrugated tube compare to Halcyon (The OC looks longer)?

From looking at the Oxycheq - what are some of the differnces between it and the Halcyon Explorer?

Thanks
Eric

The Oxycheq has three sets of mounting holes and the center section is stiffer and built better. It has no inner flap between the bladder and zipper (no problem), and no loop around the inflator hose where it mounts to the wing. The inflator on the one I dove (final pre-production) was long and had the old style inflator. I was told the iflator would be changed, and the hose lenght was optional. The wing I dove was a 70lb which will be made somewhat smaller for production, but it was not too big if you need that much lift. Dove, worked and trimmed very well, although I did not like the long hose or inflator sytle.

Eric... I overlayed the oxycheq 70# wing on the explorer 55# and the dimensions are essentially the same until you get to the top of the wing where there is more material for the oxycheq 70#

Thw white thing is the manufacturers warning label. The length of the corrugated hose is 16". You can get a shorter one if you want... I think its fine for me...

Here's another pic of my new baby:

Thanks Birdman, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Enjoy your new wing!

I just had a student doing Ext range and trimix this past week, Due to training requirements he had to have a redundant wing and I equipped him with the oxycheq 70#.. after one dive to get aquainted with the wing his trim was measurable better than when he tried to use the halycon wing(I havd him compare both wings).. the overall shape of the wing gave him a much better attitude in the water with very little effort...

So, Whats up with the OxyCheq wing?

Good, Bad???

Waiting to hear Jackknife...

Can someone please let me know the price of the Oxycheq wings?

Thanks very much.
