Hello,
I am a new diver and looking for the opportunity to complete checkout dives 3 and 4 - if someone can suggest good place for it ? Please do not offer The fantasy lake near Raleigh - the visibility there is "far from perfect".
Maybe some Florida or Caribbean resort?

Thanks so much in advance

What is the issue with less than perfect vis on a check out dive? Are you uncomfortable?

Do you have an instructor? There are several nice springs in N. Fla with excellent vis.

If you need a dive shop contact Dayo Scuba in Orlando.

I think both - viz there was about 5 feet and honestly I felt like in a bowl of soup. Which may impact a dive itself. I have done OW Checkouts 1 and 2, but looking to complete 3-4 elsewhere.

Call Jupiter Dive Center in Jupiter, Florida. Water is warm, vis is good plus they will take good care of you.

Fly to Bonaire and finish with Buddy Dive.

Smoky Mountain Divers in Kingsport, TN is going to Florida Springs during Thanksgiving Weekend.

or

Call Discovery Diving in Beaufort, NC. Dive offshore for your 3-4 o/w dives on the Indra. They are doing check-outs this coming weekend. Any of the instructors there could finish your certification.

Good Luck!

Go up to Lake Rawling VA. It's a 2.5 hr run from Cary. The vis was in the 20 ft range yesterday.
