I don't think my OW class has cost me much more than $40,000 so far. :cool:

I'm still resisting the $20,000 JetSki.

My favorite boat belongs to the shop. I take it out, go diving, bring it back and go home. All the money and maintenance is apparently handled by Magic Elves. :D

In Houston, TX, I was OW certified for $299 + free rental. They might have been additional lake entrance fees. But that is pretty much it.

Checkout Groupon, there might be some deals.

PS: Buy your own mask and fins from a store unaffiliated.
