This week the Outdoor Channel show Fishing Across America is about spearfishing at the oil rigs off the Mississippi coast. All you Florida folks who are against oil rigs off your coast might want to see what they bring to diving.

It said it was his first spearfishing experience... on a rig that could be pretty interesting!
I'm glad I didn't dive the rigs for the first time as a rookie spearfisher. Rigs are awesome, big fish on vertical reefs!
I'd love to see oil rigs starting about 100 nautical miles offshore from Florida's west coast, just beyond the range of most day boats. I'd have my boat out there every week!
