I have the 4000 and I have been searching for the past month for a housing that is affordable (pt-010) and available. Well, the people on Ebay have decided that since they know they are the ONLY ones in the world selling that housing, they can get as much money as they'd like to for it! So, since i'm not willing to give up my 4000 yet for a new camera with a more available housing, i'm trying to find a great underwater camera for about 250 bucks. Any suggestions/ ideas? My trip is in a month and i'm on a deadline to find something. I'm losing hope sadly. Thanks for all those who have given me suggestions in the past! They are always appreciated!!!!

I know this is already too late but it is something to consider next summer. Olympus Japan sells them for about $92 brand new if you can trade in your old one. They have a summer campaign every year and sell housings on a a trade-in basis and you only pay about 38% of the housing cost. My PT-20 base plate broke a month after my warrany expired but I was able to get a new one for $110. I don't know if Olympus America have this program or not.
