Our local dive club, the Greater Omaha SCUBA Club, Welcome to the Greater Omaha Scuba Club, conducted a cleanup at the lake/lagoon at Benson Park in Omaha Sunday morning. The weather wasn't the best as it was cold and raining but 8 divers including myself and Lloyd got in the water and others assisted with shoreline cleanup. Water temp was 58 but the water was actually warmer than the air temp. The most interesting find was a safe, and the largest item was some type of very large empty sandbag found by Lloyd and me. Below are some links.
