Just had a great vacation in the Cayman Islands, wanted to thank a few people publically, maybe give them a little notoriety.

Diving: Living the Dream
Web: Cayman Islands Scuba Diving Company | Best of Grand Cayman Dive Companies | Living the Dream Divers
NEW! Very warm, caring people. Absolutely no crowds, no nonsense, no cruise ship people! Very good pricing.

Snorkeling: Sotos Cruises
Web: Sotos Cruises Grand Cayman Islands | Stingray City and Reef Snorkel Tours
Very nice down to earth people. Some boat out there at Sting Ray City had over 100 people on them! We had 10. The prices were great too.

Dolphin Parks: Did NOT go!
Web: Cayman Islands Dolphin Parks
All I can say is thank God we found this website first. Read it yourselves, then make your choice. I felt it was wrong. Very wrong.

Little Bit of Everything: Activity Guide

They have a lot, and I mean a LOT! of information, pictures (very beautiful pictures, and lots of them), videos, and very candid reviews, mostly they saved us on car rental, our condo, and lots of other things. The best general Cayman Islands information site we found, and I believe we saw them all.

The Caymans are more expensive than a lot of other Caribbean islands with comparable diving, but in our opinions (me, wife, son age 14), worth it for the safety, quality, and it's pretty high tech, with computer access and other things.

We are going back, so that really says it all.

Thanks for the report on your trip.
We are planning to visit later this summer, and found it helpful.
Where did you rent a car from?

What does the dolphin park have to do with diving? We did us the Activity Guide site, and did save on car and condo. BUT, they are pretty strict there about mentioning any companies that do not advertise with them.

Sorry Kim, didn't mean to get off topic, even though it was my topic. I just wanted to throw that dolphin park in because it's a new thing and I was surprised that such an environmental friendly place would have TWO of them. I got a lot of great discounts at the Activity Guide site, never had a problem with being strict, but then never posted much either. Just passing along some savings that helped us is all.
